Built in Rochester, rooted in continuity
Horizon was founded in June 1993 by Mark Congdon, with the original office on Center Street in Geneseo. A Rochester location followed in 1994 on Browncroft Boulevard, extending the firm's reach while keeping the work personal and local.
That early path still shapes the firm today: steady relationships, practical planning, and a long view built around the families and professionals we serve in the Rochester area.

Our Office
A historic home, restored for a modern practice
Our Henrietta headquarters is a restored 1832 Federal-style cobblestone home. Purchased by Mark and Susan Congdon in 2004, it was restored for firm use and later recognized with a Town of Henrietta Beautification Award in 2006.
